#2 1984

2. Are there are any current situations in the world that relate to the novel? What are they, and how do they relate? Does the novel shed any light on how current situations could be resolved or "fixed"?

yeah it does have a similar situation like in North Korea which where socialism is rather than being a republic country, there what happens is if the presidents say, then everyone needs to follow. the citizens are not allowed to have personal property. everyone is pretty much well limited than the ones who are living in a republic country. not only this, there people are not allowed to leave their country such as escaping if they do so and they are catched then they are condemned to death which is unfair. However all this happens to control people in a strict way to maintain their rule "socialism" likewise 1984 is pretty much similar but more stricter way becaseu they 're watched every 1 second in their home with the telescreen. in this book, the technology is highly deveoped while in North Korea, the armies, bomb, and military materials are highly developed rather than providing food to the people. however there is no choice for people to choose since everyone is the ruled in same way. according to the book the solution was that the main character lastly followed the rule that his ocuntry had though he has been working very hard,...being agaisnt the government. this explains that he was controlled individually with the violence. ultimately, he chose to betrey his love, his decision, his promise, becasue of unaffordable events that has occured to his life.
