The main character is named as Winston who is about 40 years old man who is living in a country where the government is the totaliterialism. there only the technology is highly developed and in each house, there is a telescreen which keeps looking at people for 24 hours. he is against the totaliterialism. he desires the country to be changed rather than being under the rule of the totaliterialism since it harms everyone in a every aspects. they're not allowed to have a relationship with sombody else, or having a private property, thoughtcrime, meaning thining differently than what they should. the story is very unique. the government do not want people t use the old english dictionary and the words becasue they're afraid that people would learn it to serve as to think and get ideas. they basically wants people to not think to demolish the government which they are. Winston is one of the guy who is not satisfied of the rule so tries to get in step but he falls in the attempt that Obrien has made. he gets in the prison (the ministry of love) and discovers out that there are no windows adn very dark. there he get to learn how they are forceful and moves his mind by physical tortures made by Obrien who attempted to get Winston. when Obrien was young he commited the same mistake as Winston did. so he tries to help Winston in a harmful way. this whole events explains about the scareness of the totaliterialism. likewise, it shouldn't show up again but destroyed.
